Enjoy peace of mind when you move to your new home with EnergyAustralia’s power on guarantee. If your electricity is not connected by 11:59 pm local time on your booked move-in date, you may be eligible to claim a $100 credit.

To be eligible to claim the credit, you must have arranged your move-in date with EnergyAustralia at least one business day in advance and make sure you have provided accurate address and date information.

You may not be eligible if you are moving to a new estate or home that has not been connected to electricity in the last 12 months, if EnergyAustralia could not enter the premises for safety reasons, or if delays are caused by circumstances beyond EnergyAustralia’s control, such as extreme weather or natural disasters.

There are several ways to contact EnergyAustralia for customer support. You can call their contact centre on 133 466 on Monday to Friday between 8 am to 7 pm AEDT. 

Alternatively, you can use the Live Chat function on Monday to Friday between 8 am to 9 pm AEDT and Saturday between 9 am to 6 pm AEDT.
